About WCWAB
Welcome to Bangladesh Wheelchair Cricket Association (BWCA)
The Wheelchair Cricket Welfare Association of Bangladesh (WCWAB) was established in 2015 by Md. Mohasin, Founder & Captain of the Bangladesh Wheelchair Cricket Team. The initiative began with only 32 wheelchair cricketers, united by a shared dream: to represent Bangladesh and change the narrative around persons with disabilities.
From the early days, Imago Sports Event Management partnered with us in organizing and shaping this journey. We were also guided by valuable advisors, including Kazi Sabir Ahmed and Rakib, whose support strengthened our foundation.
Today, WCWAB promotes wheelchair cricket nationwide, develops skilled athletes, ensures accessibility and inclusion, and works for the dignity, recognition, and empowerment of wheelchair users across Bangladesh.

At Wheelchair Cricket, we believe that disability is not inability. Our existence is driven by a mission to empower individuals with physical challenges and provide them with a platform to showcase their passion for cricket.
- Empower Players – Giving differently-abled athletes the chance to play, compete, and achieve.
- Promote Inclusion – Breaking barriers and proving that sports belong to everyone.
- Inspire Confidence – Building self-belief on the field that carries into everyday life.
- Raise Awareness – Changing perceptions about disability through the power of sport.
Wheelchair Cricket is more than just a game—it’s about resilience, hope, and proving that true strength lies in spirit, not circumstance.
