WCWAB

Our History

The Wheelchair Cricket Welfare Association of Bangladesh began in 2015 under the leadership of Md. Mohasin. Starting with only 32 wheelchair players, the mission was clear: introduce wheelchair cricket nationwide and create opportunities for athletes with disabilities.
With the support of Imago Sports Event Management and advisors such as Kazi Sabir Ahmed and Rakib, WCWAB quickly grew into the central platform for wheelchair cricket in Bangladesh.
Over the years, WCWAB has trained hundreds of athletes, organized national tournaments, represented Bangladesh internationally, and advocated for accessibility, inclusion, and recognition of athletes with disabilities.
