About WCWAB

Wheelchair Cricket Welfare Association Bangladesh (WCWAB)

 (WCWAB) is a national level Non-government and Non-profitable voluntary organization established for the
development of the physically challenged people of Bangladesh

The organization
was formed by wheelchair cricketer Mohammad Mohasin. The organization has been
working for the disabled people since 2010 aiming to incorporate the persons with
disabilities & to strengthen in mainstream society

PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

Training Programs

Regular training sessions for wheelchair cricket players to enhance their skills, fitness, and teamwork

Domestic and International Competitions

Participation in major tournaments such as the ICRC International Cricket Tournament in Bangladesh and the Asia Cup in Nepal.

Community Outreach and Advocacy:

Initiatives to raise awareness about disability sports and promote the inclusion of disabled individuals in society

Development Initiatives:

Expansion of wheelchair cricket across divisional cities in Bangladesh through a structured selection process that began in May 2018.

Women’s Wheelchair Cricket Team

Forming and developing a women’s wheelchair cricket team to promote gender inclusivity in disabled sports.
